The Sidney McMahon x Megan Hanson collaboration is an outfit Sidney and I collectively produced for their performance in Day for Night, 2018. For this performance Sidney read out to an audience their deepest desires, which the audience had written down on pieces of paper and submitted to Sidney anonymously earlier in the evening. The intimacy of this act is what inspired Sidney’s bed outfit.
Sidney McMahon x Megan Hanson was the first outfit collaboration I worked on after embarking on a fashion/art making practice in 2018. I will forever be grateful for Sidney’s early support, and their trusting me to work with them.
